At Commando Camping, we aim to get your gear to you as quickly and safely as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, dispatch, and deliver orders Australia-wide, including key information about freight timeframes, costs, and procedures for large items such as rooftop tents and awnings.
1. Shipping Locations
We ship to all states and territories within Australia. We do not currently offer international shipping.
2. Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Please allow 1–3 business days for your order to be packed and dispatched from our warehouse.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated shipping times from date of dispatch:

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather events, or high-volume periods.
4. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and delivery location of your order.

Standard accessories and small items are shipped via trusted couriers (e.g. Australia Post, Aramex, CouriersPlease).

Large or bulky items (e.g. rooftop tents, awnings) are shipped via freight carriers such as Mainfreight or Allied Express.

For rooftop tents and other oversized items, we may require a commercial delivery address with forklift access, or your nearest depot for pickup.
5. Large Item Freight – Rooftop Tents & Awnings
Due to the size and weight of our rooftop tents and awnings:

Delivery to residential addresses may not always be available.

We may contact you after purchase to confirm delivery details or arrange depot pickup.

Someone must be present at the time of delivery to receive and sign for the goods.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to monitor the delivery progress.
7. Delivery Issues or Delays
While we work hard to ensure timely deliveries, Commando Camping is not liable for delays caused by:

Third-party courier services

Incorrect delivery details provided by the customer

Natural events (floods, fires, storms)

Peak seasons (e.g. Christmas or public holidays)
If your delivery is delayed beyond the estimated window, please contact us and we will follow up with the courier on your behalf.
8. Lost or Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@commandocamping.com.au

Provide photos of the damaged packaging or product

We will investigate with the carrier and work to resolve the issue quickly
9. Pickup Options
We do not currently offer local pickup unless arranged by prior agreement. Contact us at sales@commandocamping.com.au to enquire.
10. Changes to Shipping Address
If you need to update your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us immediately. Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to reroute it.
